Cups, mugs and glasses

Includes drinking equipment that's easy to use and can minimise spillages, such as large handled mugs, insulated cups and cups with lids.

Cutlery

Includes a range of adapted cutlery that can assist those with reduced grip, tremor, lack of muscle control or restricted movement.

Memo records / Day planners

A range of devices that play pre-recorded messages to give reminders. Includes equipment to assist with planning and remembering route tasks and activities

Drinking support systems

Designed for people with limited hand or arm movement. Seek advice from a speech and language therapist before purchasing this type of equipment, as they could potentially cause a choking risk to some people.

Eating support systems

These systems are designed for people with limited hand/arm movement, or those with limited control over their own movements.

Fold down rails

This section includes grab rails are hinged to enable them to be folded up when not in use. They are available in a range of sizes, and the weight they can take. It is advisable to seek professional advice before purchasing any grab rails.

Heating

This section includes examples of alternative radiators, radiator guards and heating remote controls.

Item locators

This section incudes fobs that flash or beep in response to a whistle or a button being pressed so to alert when an item has been misplaced or lost.
