Plates/bowls/egg cups

Includes adapted plates, bowls, egg cups, plate guards and insulated equipment to support independent eating.

Plugs and sockets

This section contains examples of sockets and plugs with various assistive features which include extensions, plugs with handles and grips and remote controlled sockets. It is always advisable to seek an electrician’s expertise before purchasing any electrical devices.

Preparation equipment

Includes food preparation boards for chopping and spreading, jar and bottle holders and cooking baskets for saucepans.

Preparation utensils

Includes equipment that can aid food preparation, such as choppers, peelers, graters and easy grip utensils.

Reaching equipment

In this section you find a selection of various types of pick up and reaching equipment, for example long and short handled grabbers.

Room signage

This section includes signs and aids that can identify areas within the home setting.

Scales and measuring

Includes items for weighing and measuring, with helpful features such as larger displays.

Scissors

Includes a range of adapted scissors, self-opening scissors and push down scissors

Slip resistant materials

Slip resistant materials can be used in many ways to help with grip, or to stop things sliding on smooth surfaces.

Stools and trolleys

If you struggle with standing while preparing food and drink, then perching stools may help. Trolleys also can be a helpful piece of equipment for transporting items. It is advisable to seek advice from an Occupational Therapist before Purchasing a stool or trolley.
