Can I use the service if the death goes to inquest?
Yes, you can use the Tell Us Once service if the death is referred to an inquest—but only after you have been issued with an interim death certificate.
Once you have that certificate, the registrar can offer the service during your appointment, and you’ll be able to notify government departments and local services through Tell Us Once.
