Farms letting policy
The Council’s current Policy was adopted following a major review of the Estate in 2008 resulting in the adoption of aims to provide tenants with business opportunities and encourage entrepreneurial ambition within the rural economy.
The county farms estate:
- provides opportunities for individuals to set up their own agricultural businesses.
- provides a source of rural employment, both directly and through provision of services to the agricultural businesses, that benefit the rural economy.
- provides environmental benefits, including the enhancement of bio-diversity and the landscape
