Scheme information for get started and grow
We have launched the get started and grow scheme to support your business with a choice between five different packages, delivered by experts in their fields.
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
You can only choose one package per business.
Available packages
- Marketing package – choose between:
- Branding option to market test your product
- Website option, branding review or website review to track traffic and interest
- Digital marketing support to help grow your business
- Social Media package – tailored to your business needs. Includes:
- Half-day 1-2-1 digital marketing strategy workshop
- Up to six 2-hour 1-2-1 coaching sessions
- Accountancy support package – expert advice to test profitability and structure your business. Includes:
- Cashflow projections
- Budget breakdowns
- Target setting

Legal package – up to two hours of written legal advice. Includes support with:
- Terms and Conditions
- Contracts of Trade/Sale
- Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Company structure and Shareholder Agreements
No legal documents will be produced.
Marketing services – what's included?
Web design and development
Elevate your online presence with a professionally designed website tailored to your business.
- Up to 7 content pages
- Legal pages (Privacy Policy and Terms of Service) – provided by you
- Contact forms, blogs, newsletter sign-up forms
- Library images from our database
- Responsive, mobile-friendly design on WordPress
Not included:
- Professional copywriting (available at extra cost)
- Web hosting (cloud hosting available as an additional service)
Typical delivery time: 6 weeks
Logo and branding
Bring your brand identity to life with 12 hours of design time, which can include:
- 3 logo concepts and final hi-fidelity logo pack
- Brand colour schemes and typography
- Digital designs for social media
- Printed materials (leaflets, banners, business cards)
- Signage and point-of-sale materials
- Revisions at each stage to ensure satisfaction
Typical delivery time: 4 weeks
Get Started Accountancy Service
Support from bookkeepers and accountants to help turn your idea into a successful business.
Includes:
- Business structure advice (sole trader, limited company, partnership)
- Tax guidance (VAT, corporation tax, personal tax)
- How to pay yourself and manage wages
- Cashflow and profit forecasting
- Balance sheet preparation
- Support with bookkeeping and accounting services
Legal package
Fully funded legal advice for your business, specialising in contract law.

- Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Company structure and Shareholder Agreements
The consultant will guide you through the legalities of setting up a business and what to look out for along your start-up journey.
Eligibility
- You can only choose one package per business
- Your business must be based in Staffordshire
- We cannot support businesses in Stoke-on-Trent
- Your business must be under 5 years old
- If your business already has a fully comprehensive website, you are not eligible for website support – but you can still access other areas of support
