Some families face lots of challenges. They might need help with things like money, housing, school, or health. The Building Resilient Families and Communities (BRFC) programme is here to help.

What is BRFC?

BRFC is part of a national programme called Supporting Families. In Staffordshire, we call it BRFC.

It helps families by:

  • Giving them one main worker who supports the whole family
  • Looking at all the family’s needs together
  • Making a plan with the family to work on what matters most
  • Getting help from different services that work together

What we want to achieve

We want families to:

  • Have safe and happy homes
  • Be able to deal with problems and tough times
  • Stay healthy and feel supported
  • Get involved in school, training, or work
  • Keep their homes and live in safe places
  • Build good relationships in their communities

How it helps

BRFC is part of Early Help in Staffordshire. That means we try to support families early—before problems get worse. We want families to get the right help at the right time, close to where they live.
