Accessing NHS services
British Nationals (Overseas) visa holders are entitled to use NHS services. You can:
- Register with a GP (doctor) for general health care
- Access hospital services if referred by your GP
- Use NHS 111 for non-emergency medical advice
- Visit A&E in case of emergency
You do not need to pay for most NHS services, but you may be charged for:
- Prescriptions
- Dental care
- Eye tests and glasses
