Accessing SSCP Online Training
- There is a £30.00 charge for this training.
- Make sure you select 'Staffordshire' training — not 'Stoke' — when prompted.
- The person taking the training must complete the process, not their employer.
How to access the training
- Go to the training site:
- Scroll down and select the picture box labelled ‘Level 1 Training’.
- At the bottom of the page, click ‘Book your training here’.
- Select the green box: ‘Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership E-learning’.
- Choose: ‘Staffordshire E-learning Level 1 Awareness: Safeguarding Children and Protecting them from abuse’ and click ‘More Information and booking’.
Logging in or registering
- If you’ve used the site before, log in with your existing details.
- If you’re new, register by completing the following:
Registration details
- Role/Job Title: Driver, Passenger Assistant or Base Staff
- Organisation type: Staffordshire Drivers/Passenger Assistants School Transport
- Role: Select Driver, Passenger Assistant or Base Staff
- Employer/Manager details:
- Finance/Organisation Admin Name = Company name
- Finance/Organisation Admin Email = Company email
- Line Manager Name = Manager or Company Owner
- Line Manager Email = Manager or Company Owner’s email
- Address = Company address
- Set your password
- Complete the ‘I am not a robot’ check
Booking and payment
- Once registered, scroll to the bottom of the page to book the training.
- Complete the pre-course evaluation and tick the terms and conditions box.
- Click ‘Booking’ to proceed to payment.
- After payment, you’ll see ‘Active E-Learning course’ — you can now start the training.
During the training
- Answer multiple-choice questions throughout the course.
- If you don’t pass, you’ll be able to retake the course.
Course evaluation and certificate
- At the end, complete the course evaluation.
- Each question must be answered — use ‘Not applicable’ if unsure.
- You’ll be able to download or print your certificate once complete.
