  • Speed cushions for traffic calming
  • Parking area enhancements
  • Resurfacing of the carriageway

When are the works taking place?

  • Start date: Monday 5 January 2026
  • Duration: Approximately 15 weeks

How long will the works take?

  • Expected completion: April 2026

Will I be able to access my home/business?

  • The road will be closed during carriageway resurfacing for public and workforce safety. Exact dates of closures will be confirmed nearer the time.
  • Access to adjacent roads will be maintained for most residents. Delays should be expected during resurfacing phases.
  • A signed diversion will be in place during closures; there will be no through traffic in the work area.

What effect could the works have on me?

  • Temporary traffic signals will control flow throughout most of the works.
