Please contact your Key Worker who will advise you of the application process and direct you to the application form if required. It may take up to 10 working days to assess your application and 20 working days after your child has been assessed as entitled to arrange travel assistance. Changing school in September?

If your child is starting school for the first time or transferring to a secondary/high or middle school in September, the application service should not be used if you live within the catchment area of the Staffordshire school (use the schools route checker to find out). Parents of these pupils will be advised of the process for travel assistance applications on receipt of their child's school place offer on National Offer Day.

If it is not the catchment school and you think you may be entitled (including because you believe it is the nearest school with a place available) please read our policy before you make an online application using the Citizen’s portal but only after the school place has been offered.
