Early years EAPDR
Early years settings in Staffordshire can access the Enhanced Assess, Plan, Do, Review (EAPDR) pathway when a child needs more support than the standard APDR cycle provides.
How to access EAPDR
- Complete the One Form and submit it within six weeks of starting the process.
- The form should include evidence of previous APDR work and input from parents and professionals.
- Once approved, a planning meeting will take place in the setting with specialist support.
What happens next?
- A multi-agency team will review the child’s needs.
- The meeting will agree clear outcomes and strategies.
- Support may include advice from educational psychologists or specialist inclusion services.
Why use EAPDR?
EAPDR helps settings provide timely, tailored support for children with complex needs. It ensures families are involved and reduces duplication by using a single form for all information.
