Safe Use of Mobile Phones

Headteachers/managers must ensure that staff who either have access to a school/council provided mobile telephone or are issued with a mobile telephone for use at work are made aware of the County Council's Management Arrangements on Mobile Telephones and similar hand held devices.

No driver on County Council business shall use any mobile phone with or without a hands free kit fitted or other similar hand held device whilst in control of a vehicle and with the engine running.
