School place planning in Tamworth Borough

Tamworth uses a two‑tier education system, which means:

  • Primary schools teach children aged 4–11
  • Secondary schools teach students aged 11–18

To plan school places, the borough is divided into smaller planning areas based on where schools are and how pupils move between them.
