If you or someone you care for has sight loss, hearing loss or both, we can help. Our sensory team provides assessments, advice and equipment to help you stay independent.
What we do
- Assess your needs at home or remotely
- Provide specialist advice and guidance
- Support you to register as sight impaired, severely sight impaired, hard of hearing, deaf or deafblind
- Offer rehabilitation programmes, including mobility and daily living skills
- Provide specialist sensory equipment
Who we work with
The sensory team is hosted by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust and works with adults and children in Staffordshire. We follow a strengths-based approach to help people remain as independent as possible.
